I did a diagnostic on my volvo 2000 s80 and code p1132 came up and it said fuel air meter in what do this mean.
I have a 99 S80 and I had that same code. I called Volvo and couldn't get anything out of the mechanic so I took it to a cheap shop and they told me that they will reset it and sometimes its just a glitch in the system and it shouldn't come back. The reason they said this is because my car was running perfectly fine, it wasn't like the fuel/air mix was volvo diagnostic scanneroff or it would have ran rough...so they reset it and it didn't come back. Something to think about, your scanner should have the ability to reset it. Hope this helps.
Also one more thing is to look into "PCV" Positive Crankcase Ventilation. HUGE problem in the early year S80's . The service manual even says to service it at 60k miles. They get clogged all the time causing problems.
fuel air meter in english is M.A.F. mass air flow. it connectsvolvo diagnostic scanner, in series, with your intake piping. its basically a wire running through the center that gauges how much air is flowing into the engine. it needs this to meter how much fuel it needs to run efficiently (think environment and power). most likely either your connections are no good (rusted out, loose, etc.), or you need to replace your M.A.F.
everything on volvo is stupid expensive so i wish you luck.
