I had itunes but i found out it carried viruses so i had to un-download it (if that makes sense)
i really need itunes and limewire.

You can download tunes for free at sites like beemp3.com , Airmp3.net , mp3raid.com , Seekasong.com , Mp3fusion.com et cetera.
I recommend Seekasong.com.

Limewire, no you cant, there is no such thing as a safe copy of Limewire. The program itself may be safem, but you have no idea what your downloading with it until you finish the download and run the program by which time you will be infected with viruses and spyware before you can say "I should halimewire free itunesve paid for my music"

Itunes should not have been infected if you picked it up from Apple. I'll bet your computer was infected by the music and software you downloaded via limewire.
Always practice safe downloading: Check for comments from other downloaders, download, scan for virus with up-to-date program, backup computer before installing new software, and/or opening media from trusted and untrusted sources.
itunes shouldnt contain viruses and limewire dosent either it depends on what u download that gives u viruses but both of these programs shouldnt have viruses just download itunes from the original website and theres a better program than limewire which might be the same but its called limewire free itunesFrostwire try the links below

It wasn`t itunes that had viruses, it was the music files you had in there which you downloaded from limewire.
If you insist on downloading from dodgy sites, right click the files and scan before you open them, if anything`s found, right click and delete the files.
iTunes is safe. Limewire is a virus-ridden application. Downloading music without paying for it is illegal. Illegal downloads contain viruses. Legal downloads are safe, but require you to pay for music instead of stealing it. Your choice.

As for Limewire I'd stay away from it, it's full or virus's.
